It’s the 4th Annual YardArt, a spring celebration of creativity and fun in front yards, porches and windows all over Watertown!!
Throughout April, storefront art projects will show paintings and collages by Cat Bennett, Marieju Dawe, Xavier Haurie and Ellen Wineberg, all from Watertown. Swampscott’s Dianne Jenkins makes dolls with recycled fabric and funky do-dads. Helen McMullen from Maine sews colorful kids’ skirts and hats, and former Watertown residents Maggie Stern and Paul Angiolillo create whimsical creatures in clay and cloth and giant pencils. Plus, there’s painting and work on paper by six school-children next to a quilt of a bullet-ridden Bill of Rights by Watertown’s Adrienne Sloane.
